New Snapchat Features

While some people may have said goodbye to Snapchat once Instagram Stories rolled out, Snapchat has recently stepped up its game by revamping its look and adding in some new features. Not sure if you want to switch back yet? Here are some of the new things you can do with Snapchat.

While some people may have said goodbye to Snapchat once Instagram Stories rolled out, Snapchat has recently stepped up its game by revamping its look and adding in some new features. Not sure if you want to switch back yet? Here are some of the new things you can do with Snapchat.

New look: Snapchat has maintained a pretty standard look for a while now, not really offering up too many aesthetic changes. However with this new update, Snapchat has finally decided to make some major changes.

Search bar: Snapchat now has a universal search bar! You can still search within your own contacts, but now you can also search within the Snaposphere, making it easier to find new friends, published stories, and celebrities.

Quick chat, groups, new friends: Click on the search bar and pull up quick chat – a list of all of your recent Snap-ees all lined up and ready to Snap. Right below it, you’ll see your groups as well. And you can see an easily accessible list of your new friends, friends you can add quickly (think: new contacts, mutual snappers), and your contacts. Snappers, meet efficiency.

Stickers: One step ahead of Instagram, Snapchat has added customizable stickers! Take a snap, click on the scissors in the top left corner, select what you want, and bam – you’ve turned it into a reusable sticker.
